Licensed Drug Shortage – Epanutin (Phenytoin) 30mg/5ml Suspension

On the 22nd October 2018, the DHSC raised an alert of a supply disruption of Epanutin (Phenytoin) 30mg/5ml Suspension 500ml with Pfizer.

Stock shortages will be from the week commencing 29 October 2018 until early December 2018, with Healthcare Professionals being encouraged to find alternative methods for their patients’, such as Specials (Unlicensed Medicines).
